Dispersal Zone

Dear All,

A Police Dispersal Power (S.35 Anti-Social behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014) has been authorised by Inspector Luciano.

This Dispersal Zone will be in force for the areas inside the mapped area of Camden Town as shown in the image below.

Commencing FRIDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2025 at 1600 HOURS 

Ending SUNDAY 26TH OCOTBER 2025 at 1559 HOURS.

The power grants Police Officers and PCSO's the ability to require a person to leave the zone for a period not exceeding 48 hours if they have reasonable grounds to suspect that the persons behaviour has caused or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress or crime or disorder. Any person who fails to disperse when directed or who returns within the allotted time commits an offence for which they may be arrested.

This is a proactive measure to help us prevent Anti-Social Behaviour within the Camden Town Centre footprint.
